Where the work began
Stacie's path into senior care began inside hospital units, working alongside case managers and discharge planners on behalf of patients other services had overlooked. Case managers began asking her to work directly with patients and their families—many of them older adults—and she saw the same gap again and again: a discharge clock ticking, a family with no map, and no one whose job it was to know which settings could actually support the person.
So she went looking for the services that didn't exist, and over time she built the practice that fills that gap: candid questions, local context, and follow-through from the first conversation to move-in day.
When distance became the problem
During the pandemic, families living out of state suddenly had no way to be present for the people they loved. Stacie became their eyes, ears, and voice inside hospitals and communities—attending, observing, asking, and reporting back.
